Ensure compliance with ADA FibarMat wear mats.
The 2012 ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Federal Accessibility Law requires that all public playgrounds maintain a level surface to provide accessibility to the disabled. ADA FibarMat wear mats help accomplish this by preventing the displacement of Fibar Engineered Wood Fiber at heavy use areas.
ADA FibarMats have beveled edges to improve accessibility. And they pay for themselves by greatly reducing the need for raking in heavy use areas. ADA FibarMat wear mats must be installed under all swings, tire swings, slide exits and all other wear areas including sliding poles to ensure compliance with the new law.

EASY TO INSTALL
1. Install under all swings and at slide exits. Also install under other heavy-use equipment, including sliding poles.
2. Install the ADA FibarMat flush with the surface of the engineeered wood fiber. Rake out an area of 39” x 39” x 2” and make sure the area is as level as possible. Drop in the ADA FibarMat and rake back the wood fiber to the edge of the ADA FibarMat.
3. To install an ADA FibarMat at the base of a sliding pole, cut the mat with a sharp utility knife so that the pole goes through the center.

FibarMat wear mats are covered by their own 3-year warranty. Installed on a Fibar System, they ensure that all Fibar System warranties will apply. Each FibarMat is 3' x 3' with beveled (handicap-friendly) edges.
